How we collect and verify prices

Sources: registrar APIs (Porkbun, OVHcloud, Vercel), the tldes.com price index, registrar price lists, promo pages, newsletters, forums and Telegram channels.

Verification. A price from a page, an email or a post is shown only after we find the same price for the same extension on the registrar's own page. Price-list columns are compared with independent data; columns that do not match (for example a 2-year price shown as yearly) are dropped.

3-year cost. First year plus two renewals, respecting minimum terms found in footnotes, tooltips or the cart (for example "minimum 3-year term").

Cart check. For some deals our bot puts a random available name into the registrar's cart to read the term and the total. It never places an order and never enters personal data.
